| Description |
Both during the new manufacturing of axles and also during revision examinations in the workshops of the railroad
companies the magnetic particle crack detection plays an important role.
The examination for longitudinal flaws is executed by means of a magnetization with a ring field
which is generated by a current flow. The examination for transverse flaws is carried out by means of moving coil, which - for cycle time reasons - is able to move, wet and
magnetize in both directions. An automatic adjustment of the clamping length is available as an option.
