With the acquisistion of the BTD company, KARL DEUTSCH has extended the product portfolio for the railway sector. The focus is placed on the inspection of railway wheels, axles and wheelsets with ultrasonics and magnetic particles. The inspection is either carried out in the manufacturing plants or in the mainenance workshops of the railway industries. The partner company WS WERKSTOFFSERVICE in Essen, Germany, provides railway-specific knowhow, consultancy and training services.
