Transportable DEUTROPULS power generators enable mobile magnetic particle crack detection with alternating current or half-wave direct current. In order to generate a magnetic field, a high current is fed into the part to be tested by means of magnetic contacts.

The portable DEUTROPULS hand yokes generate a magnetic field at the push of a button, which is fed into the material to be tested via rigid or flexible attachment poles.

A crack on the surface of the material to be tested (iron, cast iron or ferromagnetic steel) interrupts the magnetic flux and creates a clearly visible accumulation of magnetic particles applied for testing. The magnetic particles are flashily coloured and visible under daylight or UV light.
