Red and White Test with KD-CHECK

Red dye penetrants are often used because of their easy handling. Only one can of cleaner, penetrant and developer each is required for the examination. This makes dye penetrant testing particularly suitable for on-site use, for repairs, sampling inspection and series testing. The evaluation takes place in normal daylight or under daylight lamps.

  • Suitable for metals and non-metals (suitability for plastics must be checked beforehand)
  • Reduced testing agent consumption due to low viscosity and optimum dripping properties
  • Excellent wetting properties, especially on smooth surfaces
  • Good washability
  • High test reliability due to strong contrast formation
  • Low sulphur and halogen content according to DIN EN ISO 3452-2 and ASME Code, Section V, Article 6
  • Can be used in a temperature range from -30 °C to +50 °C
  • Sample tested according to DIN EN ISO 3452-2 and 3452-6, approved according to AREVA NP TLV 9017
