Testing Agents KD-Check According to AMS 2644

Due to their extensive body of regulations, the aviation industry also makes special demands on the testing agents used. In addition to the classic testing agents for the automotive sector and the industry, we also have special, self-developed testing agents in our program portfolio meeting the requirements of AMS 2644 and listed in the approval list (QPL list).

  • Fluorescent surfactant-based penetrant
  • Sensitivity class 3 (AMS 2644), 4 (DIN EN ISO 3452-2)
  • Water-washable
  • Suitable for metals and non-metals (suitability for plastics must be checked beforehand)
  • Very good wetting properties
  • Strong contrast formation of displays
  • Resistant to washing over
  • Ideally suited for locating fine defects
  • Free from hydrocarbons
  • Very good biodegradability according to EN ISO 9888
  • Dischargeable in aqueous dilution after approval by local water authorities
  • Low odour
  • Low sulfur and halogen content according to DIN EN ISO 3452-2 and ASME Code, Section V, Article 6
  • Applicable in a temperature range from +10 °C to +50 °C
  • Approved according to DIN EN ISO 3452-2
  • Sample tested according to DIN EN ISO 3452-2 and listed on QPL-AMS 2644
